The Complete Guide to see West Palm Beach, Florida

FILED IN: Partnerships, Travel

West Palm Beach is a South Florida destination conveniently located an hour north of Miami and two hours southeast of Orlando! The area has so much to offer, here’s the complete guide to see West Palm Beach — from 2,000 deliciously decadent restaurants, dozens of food festivals, craft breweries, a huge GreenMarket & plenty of other activities  — especially on the water. The Palm Beaches have become a dense tropical haven for celebrated chefs, a bounty of homegrown items, freshly-picked produce and fresh, local seafood directly from the source. Here are some of my favorite spots to visit during a weekend in West Palm Beach, while staying at Hilton Garden Inn –  the perfect home base for a foodie like me.

This blog post is sponsored by Hilton Garden Inn, but all of the opinions are my own.

Hilton Garden Inn properties feature a full-service restaurant and bar offering cooked-to-order dishes, handcrafted cocktails and craft beers. A 24-hour self-service retail space called The Shop offers fresh foods, locally sourced snacks and beverages.

The natural light and modern decor of the lobby and comfortable guest rooms make the bright and airy ambiance inviting. It’s the perfect place to decompress after spending the weekend exploring the surrounding area.

The Complete Guide to see West Palm Beach – experiences

West Palm Beach GreenMarket

Located in downtown West Palm Beach — this is one of the most extensive markets I’ve been to. There are so many vendors who have been a part of the GreenMarket for many years & some even since its inception 25 years ago. Scroll down to check out my favorite stops of the morning!

Candid Coffee – They have a cinnamon cold brew that I’m still dreaming of & praying they start shipping straight to my door. Or I wouldn’t mind it on tap!

The Cheese Shoppe – You know I love everything cheese related!

Olive Oil of the World – A family-owned business dedicated to bringing farm-to-bottle olive oil, artisan crafted food products and vinegar from all over the globe.

The Biscuit Lady – Heart shaped biscuit sandwiches! I mean I don’t think I need to say more.

Eddie’s Dark Chocolate – Organic dark chocolate! Everything is soy, dairy free & gluten free!

Damn Good Beer Bus

The perfect & most responsible way to see West Palm Beach while sipping on local brews!

West Palm Brewery & Wine Vault (permanently closed as of September 2022) — This spacious spot offers local brews, California wines & delicious grub. You HAVE to order the nachos. They have honey on them & I never want nachos without honey again. Just trust me on this one.

Barrel of Monks Brewery — Think Belgian beer with modern twists. My beer taste isn’t usually towards Belgian beer but Barrel of Monks changed my mind! I was also happy to see that Hilton Garden Inn has a number of their beers on tap.

Hakuna Matata Boat Tour

A perfectly relaxing, sightseeing intracoastal waterway adventure. The catamaran captains are super knowledgeable about the West Palm Beach history, architecture & culture.

Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival

The annual food festival’s Grand Tasting event is the ultimate place to experience a well-rounded taste of Palm Beach. I was extremely impressed by the array of delicious bites & pours.

Avocado Grill

Serving locally sourced, vibrantly flavored fare in a perfectly Florida ambiance. Order a few small plates, raw bar bites and craft cocktails.

Must order: Rock Shrimp Bang Bang, Stuffed Crispy Zucchini Blossoms & their specialty Old Fashioned

Guanabanas Waterfront Restaurant & Bar

West Palm Beach Florida x Hilton Garden Inn, Guanabanas

An institution in northern Palm Beach County with an open-air, lush, tropical atmosphere; live music, delicious locally sourced cuisine & cocktails. You have to order seafood here!

Garden Grille & Bar at Hilton Garden Inn

Not your average hotel restaurant and bar! Each Hilton Garden Inn can customize its restaurant menu with on-trend offerings that showcase local ingredients and regional flavors. The Hilton Garden Inn in West Palm Beach wowed me with fresh Mahi Mahi topped with a citrus salsa that was out of this world.

You HAVE to dine in — from delicious breakfast (seriously the BEST hotel breakfast I’ve had) to exquisite dinner offerings and craft cocktails (be sure to try the Judy’s Garden Gin specialty cocktail!). I was so impressed by the elevated food and beverage offerings in the hotel restaurant that I knew just where I wanted to spend my last evening in town.

I look forward to my next foodie adventure with Hilton Garden Inn. Where should I explore next?
